ActiveCampaign has recently begun implementing many AI features for its platform. Unfortunately, given how our account is set up and the rules we need to follow, most of their AI features are not appropriate for our use. Below, I’ve pointed out a few changes and how you can address them in your account.

New Homepage

ActiveCampaign is heavily pushing its new AI features, and its new homepage is the latest highlight of these features. It is immediately a box for an AI prompt. Because we do not want the AI creating “branded” content, it is a good idea to turn that new homepage off.

  1. Click your Settings cogwheel (in the top-right corner near your avatar).
  2. It will open up to the Account section of Settings. Scroll down until you see the button labeled “New homepage.” Turn the button off.
  3. Scroll down to the password box and erase anything in the “current password” box. Then press “Save Settings” at the top right of your screen.
  4. Go back to your homepage, and you should now see the homepage you’re familiar with.

Create a Campaign

When you go to create a new campaign, you might notice that the “Create a Campaign” button is no longer in the top right corner. It now displays a box waiting for an AI prompt. Since we don’t want AI-created campaigns, please make sure to click the link below that box titled “Start from scratch instead.”
