ActiveCampaign

Our monthly online ActiveCampaign sessions are offered on October 8th and October 10th, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. To learn more about how to manage your contacts, join our Managing Contacts session on October 8th. To learn more about creating and sending campaigns, join our Creating Email Campaigns session on October 10th.

AI Jam Session

Our Advancing Extension with AI (Artificial Intelligence) Jam Session this month will be held on Friday, October 4th from 12-1 p.m. Drop in with your lunch for a short Jam Session on using AI in your county center. Come find out what's new with Artificial Intelligence and how it's being used in the workplace.

Eventbrite

Our monthly online Eventbrite session is offered on October 1st from 9-10:30 a.m. This session will cover Extension Eventbrite requests through event publication, including budget forms, adding details to the event, online event, modifying ticket information, adding custom questions to the order form, and making your event live for registration, and managing attendees once your event is published.

Express Sessions

Our first EIT Express training, Extension Websites 101, is being offered on Wednesday, October 16th, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Join us for a session that is essential to keeping your website up-to-date! We'll teach you how to master the Old Content Review Report and adopt best practices for maintaining your site. Learn to check that your settings are current and how to declutter your media library by removing outdated media. Don’t miss out on optimizing your website’s relevance.

Move It or Lose It: Taking Care of Your Google Storage

Have you gotten an email informing you that you are either over your Google storage quota or within 25%? In the lead up to the November 1st deadline, we are offering several opportunities to learn about Google storage. Move It or Lose It will be offered five times in October: October 7th at 2 p.m., October 11th at 10 a.m., October 15th at 9 a.m., October 17th at 2 p.m., and October 23rd at 10 a.m. These sessions are geared towards current and retired employees who are over or within 25% of their NCSU Google storage quota. In these sessions, we will cover (but not limited to) the topics listed below:
  • Search operators (in both Drive and Gmail)
  • Shared Drives purpose/best practices
  • How to download files/folders from Drive
  • Takeout transfer
  • External storage

Publications Database

This month, Bethany is offering a session, Publications Database 101, on October 9th from 11am-12pm.

This session is primarily for specialists, but agents are welcome to join to learn how to navigate the database and find useful information.
