ActiveCampaign

Our monthly online ActiveCampaign sessions are offered on March 11th and March 13th from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Join our Managing Contacts session on March 11th to learn more about managing your contacts. To learn more about creating and sending campaigns, join our Creating Email Campaigns session on March 13th.

AI Jam Session

Our monthly AI Jam Session is being offered on March 7th from 12-1 p.m. Drop in with your lunch for a short Jam Session on using AI in your county center. Come find out what’s new with Artificial Intelligence and how it’s used in the workplace. Get set for Spring and Summer with AI Tools to speed up your workflow.

Eventbrite

Our monthly online Eventbrite session is on March 4th from 9-10:30 a.m. This session will cover Extension Eventbrite requests through event publication, including budget forms, adding details to the event, online event, modifying ticket information, adding custom questions to the order form, making your event live for registration, and managing attendees once your event is published.

Express Sessions

Our first EIT Express session for the month, How to Catch a Phish, will be offered on Wednesday, March 19th, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Scammers have become very adept at disguising their phishing scams to look like legitimate communications. In this session, we will talk about the risks of phishing scams and provide some practical tips and strategies to avoid falling victim to such scams. Bring along your phishing poles and join us as we learn how to catch a phish.Our second Express session for the month, iThink Therefore iMac, will be offered on Wednesday, March 26th, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Are you new to Mac? Have you been using a Mac for a while but would just like to learn some new tips and tricks? Whether you’re a new or experienced Mac user, you should find helpful information in this session. You will learn some navigation and customization skills. You will also learn some shortcuts and additional tips to help you develop Mac proficiency and increase your productivity.

Gemini

We are offering new trainings on how to use Gemini. Please join us for, Gemini: It’s Not Rocket Science (But It’s Close), on Tuesday, March 25th, from 2-3:30 p.m. Artificial intelligence (AI) seems overwhelming, but it’s not rocket science. This session will introduce participants to Gemini, Google’s new Artificial intelligence (AI) tool. Participants will learn how AI works, its benefits and pitfalls, how to engineer a prompt, and how AI is used in Extension. Participants will also have a chance to ask questions and demonstrate using Gemini. We promise you’ll be launching Gemini to new heights after we finish!

Increasing Digital Accessibility

Throughout the year, we will be offering sessions designed to increase your knowledge about digital accessibility. Our first session, Creating Accessible Google and Microsoft Documents, will be offered on March 18th from 10-11 a.m. This session was also offered at the Extension Conference earlier in the year. You will learn how to identify and address common accessibility issues in various types of documents, including Word documents and Google Docs. The class covers the importance of creating inclusive content, and hands-on training with popular accessibility checker tools.

Publications Database

This month, Bethany Geiger is offering a session, Publications Database 101, on March 20th from 2-3 p.m.

This session is primarily for specialists, but agents are welcome to join to learn how to navigate the database and find useful information.
