We'll teach you how to master the Old Content Review Report and adopt best practices for maintaining your site. Learn to check that your settings are current and how to declutter your media library by removing outdated media. Don’t miss out on optimizing your website’s relevance.Our second EIT Express training for July, Let's Make a Date, is being offered on Wednesday, July 24th, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Did you know you can use Google Calendar for more than just scheduling meetings? In this session, you will learn how to create appointments/meetings on Google Calendar, as well as a few other tips to help make calendar management easier. You'll learn how to add attachments, find available times for specific meeting attendees, and how to create a task from your calendar.Extension Website Redesign Discussion
During the month of July, we will be hosting several sessions regarding to our upcoming website redesign. These sessions, Extension Website Redesign Discussion, will take place several times during the month of July. Some sessions are focused on county websites, while other sessions are focused on topic sites and website features for specialists. Each session is limited to 15 attendees to encourage discussion and feedback. We've made significant changes based on your previous suggestions. We're excited to show you the new design and hear what you think about it. Have you gotten an email informing you that you are either over your Google storage quota or within 25%? In the lead up to the November 1st deadline, we are offering several opportunities to learn about Google storage. Move It or Lose It will be offered twice in July: July 10th at 1:30pm, and July 25th at 10am. These sessions are geared towards current and retired employees who are over or within 25% of their NCSU Google storage quota. In these sessions, we will cover (but not limited to) the topics listed below:- Search operators (in both Drive and Gmail)
- Shared Drives purpose/best practices
- How to download files/folders from Drive
- Takeout transfer
- External storage
