We've finally made it to February!
We have several learning opportunities and topics this month.

We are excited to host our first Advancing Extension with AI (Artificial Intelligence) Jam Session this month. It will be held on Friday, February 2nd from 12-1 pm. Drop in with your lunch for a short Jam Session on using AI in your county center. We’ll hear from Guilford County Extension Director, Heather Schaffer about how her center has embraced ChatGPT and generative AI. We’ll also open the floor and discuss AI usage with other extension employees around the state. No registration is needed. Make sure to register in XLMS to join us!
Our monthly online Eventbrite session is offered on February 6th from 9-10:30 a.m. This session will cover Extension Eventbrite requests through event publication, including budget forms, adding details to the event, online event, modifying ticket information, adding custom questions to the order form, and making your event live for registration, and managing attendees once your event is published.
We are offering a session called Using ActiveCampaign to Follow Up on Eventbrite Events, on Wednesday, February 7th from 2-3 pm. When attendees are checked in for an Eventbrite event, their contact information is then automatically imported into ActiveCampaign. These contacts receive tags identifying Eventbrite events they have participated in. You can use those tags to follow up with past participants as well as a way to advertise upcoming programs. Join us to learn how to use those Eventbrite tags to your advantage!
Our monthly online ActiveCampaign sessions are offered on February 13th and February 15th, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. To learn more about how to manage your contacts, join our Managing Contacts session on February 13th. To learn more about creating and sending campaigns, join our Creating Email Campaigns session on February 15th.

Join us as we explore how to use engagement tags to monitor your audience and perform list hygiene.
Our second EIT Express training, I Want to Break Free - Copyright and Image Use Rules, is being offered on Wednesday, February 28th, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. In this class, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the importance of respecting copyright and licensing when using images. The session will cover the basics of image rights, including public domain, Creative Commons licenses, and commercial usage restrictions. We will also look at some practical tips on where and how to find high-quality, legally usable images online.
We hope to see you this month!
