ActiveCampaign

Our monthly online ActiveCampaign sessions are offered on August 6th and August 8th, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. To learn more about how to manage your contacts, join our Managing Contacts session on August 6th. To learn more about creating and sending campaigns, join our Creating Email Campaigns session on August 8th.

Eventbrite

Our monthly online Eventbrite session is offered on August 13th from 9-10:30 a.m. This session will cover Extension Eventbrite requests through event publication, including budget forms, adding details to the event, online event, modifying ticket information, adding custom questions to the order form, and making your event live for registration, and managing attendees once your event is published.

Express Sessions

Our first EIT Express training, Glide Through Google Slides, is being offered on Wednesday, August 21st, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Take a quick Gilde through Google Slides! We will cover essential topics for creating effective presentations. It starts with an introduction to Google Slides, followed by steps to access and create a new presentation. The design section includes choosing themes, adding text, and using slide masters. Enhancements like transitions, animations, and media embedding are discussed. Collaboration features, including sharing and commenting, are highlighted.Our second EIT Express training for July, Extension Websites 101, is being offered on Wednesday, August 28th, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.Join us for a session that is essential to keeping your website up-to-date! We’ll teach you how to master the Old Content Review Report and adopt best practices for maintaining your site. Learn to check that your settings are current and how to declutter your media library by removing outdated media. Don’t miss out on optimizing your website’s relevance.

Video Training

Ben Farmer is offering an in-person video training opportunities, Video Education 101. This one-day training session is perfect for beginners and those looking to refine their basic video production skills. This will be both a learning session and a hands-on experience.

If you are ready to participate and are nearby, sign up today! If you have your own computer, you are welcome to bring it and any other materials, but please make sure Adobe Premiere Pro and Premiere Rush are downloaded to your device. We will not have time to fix this during the session.

Move It or Lose It: Taking Care of Your Google Storage

Have you gotten an email informing you that you are either over your Google storage quota or within 25%? In the lead up to the November 1st deadline, we are offering several opportunities to learn about Google storage. Move It or Lose It will be offered twice in August: August 5th at 10 a.m., and August 20th at 9:30 a.m. These sessions are geared towards current and retired employees who are over or within 25% of their NCSU Google storage quota. In these sessions, we will cover (but not limited to) the topics listed below:

• Search operators (in both Drive and Gmail)
• Shared Drives purpose/best practices
• How to download files/folders from Drive
• Takeout transfer
• External storage
