In ActiveCampaign, a segment is used to designate the audience of a campaign. You can make segments aimed at single tags or made up of multiple tags. You can even make segments using criteria other than tags.
Unfortunately, the creation of a segment can become confusing if you get stuck in the logic loop of "and" or "or."
Fortunately, ActiveCampaign has now given us more options and updated wording on how to create segments. You can now create segments by selecting either "has at least one of" or "has all of" your designated tags (or chosen criteria/condition).
By choosing "has at least one of," you can select multiple tags in one condition spot, and a campaign sent to that segment will go to anyone with any of your designated tags. If they have more than one of your selected tags, they won't receive the campaign more than once. If you are familiar with the first way we've shown how to create segments, "has at least one of" can be equated with using "or" when listing your chosen tags.
By choosing "has all of," you can select multiple tags in one condition spot, and a campaign sent to that segment will go to anyone who has all of your designated tags. If you are familiar with the first way we've shown how to create segments, "has all of" can be equated with using "and" when listing your selected tags.
