The 2025 PCI (Payment Card Industry) Merchant Training is now available, and all Extension Eventbrite users must complete this annual requirement—even if you only plan to use Eventbrite for free events.

If you are currently PCI certified, you should have already received a notification about the 2025 PCI Merchant Security Training from reporter_registration@ncsu.edu.

For previously certified employees, the deadline to complete the training is January 31, 2025. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the removal of your Extension’s Eventbrite account.

New Extension employees and others in need of PCI Training can request access to the training module. You will be notified once the module is added to your account at reporter.ncsu.edu, though please note this process may take several weeks.

PCI training is essential for maintaining the security and integrity of payment card information. It equips individuals and organizations with the knowledge needed to comply with PCI Security Standards, ensuring secure handling of payment card data and protection against credit card fraud.
