Extension Information Technology (EIT) needs to know when county offices will be moving at least two months prior to the move date. This allows enough time for the internet service provider that we contract with to arrange to have the connection moved. Less lead time may result in having no internet connection to the new location for four to six weeks.EIT also would like to have input on the plans for the new building or renovation. Setting in connections for the wireless equipment during construction helps everyone when the time to move in happens.
The costs associated with wiring the new location, wire, patch panels, outlets, labor, and other expenses are the responsibility of the county.
