Sometimes attendees need to be added by the event organizer. This may happen if someone calls your office or does not have a computer. Note that credit card payment cannot be entered by the event organizer. NC State University’s PCI compliance rules forbid employees to enter credit card information for a registrant. When non-employee attendees are entered manually, check/cash is the only allowable payment method.

Another reason that this could happen is if an NC State employee wants to register for your paid event on NC State business. Note that NC State Pcards cannot be used to pay for Eventbrite registrations. Instead, NC State employees attending your fee-based Extension Eventbrite event on NC State business should be entered by the event organizer using the payment type Other.

To add an attendee, locate the event, and go to Manage Attendees > Add Attendees.

Under Order Type, select Other

Enter the ticket quantity and ticket price.

Click Continue.

After this, you will be prompted to fill in the registration information, including first name, last name, and email address of attendee. For an NC State employee attending your fee-based Extension Eventbrite event on NC State business, please use their unityid@ncsu.edu and their email address. If you need to add someone who did not share their email address, you can use the address nomail-eventbrite@ncsu.edu

When this has been completed, click Register or Place Order.

The fees for NC State employees should be collected by requesting an IDS (Interdepartmental Sales) action.

For more information about IDS, see the CBO ServiceNow Portal. The IDS form can be found under Submit a Form, Billing Requests
