If you use the NC State Virtual Private Networking (VPN) service for secure remote access to mapped drives and other campus resources, be aware that OIT will be upgrading its VPN service from the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client to the supported Cisco Secure Client starting at 1 p.m. on March 20th, 2024.

The appearance of the interface will change, but you do not need to take any action and can continue using it as usual.

NC State faculty and staff who are working remotely should use the Virtual Private Networking (VPN) service when connecting to the campus network to access sensitive data.
