Our license for Microsoft Office has recently been updated. The new license should be installed automatically on Macs supported by EIT, but if you're prompted to upgrade, you can follow the steps below to install the updated license.

1. First, quit any open Office apps (Word, Excel, etc).
2. Next, open the Self Service app, and install the "Office 2021 License."
3. The updated license file should now be installed.

Note that the current versions of Microsoft Office requires macOS 12 "Monterey" or newer. If your Mac is not currently running macOS Monterey, Ventura, or Sonoma, you can contact the EIT Helpdesk for assistance with the upgrade.
