Apple has released a new version of macOS, called Sonoma. As with most early releases, there are several bugs and known issues with this latest version, and the Help Desk has gotten several calls about these issues, including problems using external displays.

Due to these issues, Extension IT does not recommend upgrading to Sonoma at this time.

We expect to see an update released soon to address some of these issues, but in the mean time the macOS Sonoma update should not be installed.
