NC State University Wireless Networks

When visiting the NC State University campus from the counties, you may want to use campus wireless. There are three wireless networks on campus, NCSU, NCSU Guest, and eduroam.  See the Wireless Network Access page for more information on each individual network.

If you are only going to be on campus once or twice a year, then you will most likely want to use the NCSU network.  Choose NCSU from your wireless settings, and you should then be redirected to a page that asks you to sign in with your Unity ID and password.  Sign in and you are good to go.

If you are going to be on campus many times a year, or for a longer time, you may want to enroll in eduroam.  First, sign into the NCSU network (see above for steps).  Once connected, follow the directions on the eduroam enrollment page.  Once you have completed the enrollment process, make sure you then join the eduroam network.  The advantage to using this network is that you will automatically join each time you come on campus instead of having to sign on each time, like the NCSU network requires you to do.
