Digital Accessibility | What do I do with my PDFs?
Register in XLMS
As we work to ensure our digital content is accessible to everyone, one of the more challenging formats is the Portable Document Format (PDF). PDFs have been widely used, but are not the most accessible or mobile-friendly option. In this session, you will learn how digital accessibility requirements apply to PDFs and how to make decisions on whether to convert or remediate your documents. We'll also share some tools and resources for testing, creating, and remediating your PDFs.
N.C. Cooperative Extension prohibits discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy), disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, and veteran status. Individuals with disabilities are invited to request reasonable accommodations to participate in Extension sponsored programs and events. Please contact the county Extension office or campus department offering the program at least 14 days prior to the event to make arrangements.
