NC State University's Office of Information Technology has created a new Google Drive Inventory add-on designed to help users manage their Google Drive more efficiently. This tool generates a detailed list of the files in a user's My Drive, showing file types, sizes, creation dates, and any duplicates. It helps users identify items to delete, retain, or move to a Shared Drive. Available via Google Marketplace, the add-on simplifies storage management and file organization.

Once you download the tool from Google Marketplace and run it, you will receive an email when your Google Drive inventory is complete (there is no need to wait for the tool to finish), and you can begin working on cleaning up your Google Drive.
