We are pleased to announce substantial enhancements to the Zoom services available to all permanent NC State Extension employees.

Your Zoom Pro account has been automatically upgraded to Zoom Enhanced and now includes two powerful licenses, now readily available without any additional cost to your department or the submission of a request form:

• Zoom Webinar 500 License: Host webinars with up to 500 attendees.
• Zoom Large Meeting 500 License: Host standard meetings with up to 500 participants.

These tools are in place to support your Extension work and are automatically provisioned for permanent employees.

In addition to increased capacity, your account now includes  Translated Captions which will enhance accessibility.

Using Translated Captions To use the Translated Captions feature, follow these action-oriented steps during a meeting:

• Locate the meeting controls toolbar.
• Click the Show Captions icon. Note: If you do not see the icon immediately, click the More button, then select Captions.
• A window will prompt you to select the language you would like the spoken content to be translated into.

Students, temporary and No-Pay employees will continue to receive Zoom Standard accounts with meetings of up to 300 participants and no webinar license.  Zoom Standard accounts do not include Translated Captions support.  For additional information about what is included in Zoom Standard accounts, see Overview of Zoom at NC State.
