Resource calendars are used for scheduling things like conference rooms or shared vehicles and equipment.
Requesting a calendar
- Contact the EIT helpdesk to request the calendar. Please be sure to include all of the following information
- Calendar Name
- Calendar Description
- Calendar Manager (will manage access, annual renewal, be a general contact for the calendar)
- Backup Calendar Manager
- From the Google Calendar menu
- Select Shared: Edit Sharing next to the appropriate calendar
- Fill in the unity ids of the people that you want to share with under the Share with Specific People section
- Save your changes
- Let people know they have been added and send them the calendar’s email address so that they can add it to their own calendar. This is under the Calendar Address (Calendar ID: email address)
Other Calendar Users
- Copy and Paste the calendar address in the field under Other Calendars that says Add a Co Worker’s Calendar
