Zoom Language Interpretation

— Written By

Language Interpretation is now available for NC State University Zoom accounts. This feature allows hosts to bring in interpreters and set up an audio channel for different languages. This allows meeting participants to select their language of choice among many to receive a real-time interpretation of other participants’ speech.

Hosts can designate an interpreter from Zoom’s web interface or during a Zoom session. Once a meeting begins, the host starts the interpretation feature, which will give interpreters their own audio channel.

For details about this feature, please see Language interpretation in meetings and webinars on Zoom’s support site.
