Master the Basecamp Basics

— Written By

Do you want to learn more about Basecamp but don’t can’t attend one of our training sessions? If so, you might want to check out Master the Basecamp Basics. This site has several 2-minute videos to get you started.

Video topics include:

  • How and why to use discussion threads instead of chats, emails or meetings
  • How to replace routine status meetings with Automatic Check-ins
  • How it helps to put everything in one place instead of using separate tools

If you prefer an instructor-led experience, Extension IT is continuing to offer Introduction to Basecamp training to help Extension employees get started using Basecamp to manage projects and communications.

You can make your next Extension project happen on-time with Basecamp’s tools. To-do lists keep you focused on what needs to be done. Team discussions ensure everyone is on the same page. Collaborative text documents help you create and organize documentation. The Basecamp project calendar will assist you with assigned deadlines and milestones for tasks associated with individuals on your team.

Learn more about Basecamp by taking our Introduction to Basecamp session. This session is a 30-minute overview of the using tool in our environment.

Sessions are being offered on February 14, March 14, April 11, and May 16. Sign up for one in the Extension Learning Management System.
