New Help Desk Software
After Tuesday, NC State will stop using Remedy to manage Help Desk call tracking. Remedy has been used at NC State for 15 years and many of you are used to receiving messages and ticket confirmations from Remedy. After Tuesday, NC State and the EIT Help Desk will be using a product called Service Now.
Please be aware that support messages and confirmations of Help Desk calls will look different since they will now come from Service Now instead of Remedy. We are still working to make sure that our transition to this new software run smoothly and we don’t plan on any interruptions in call tracking.
After the transition to Service Now, you will still contact the EIT Help Desk by email at email@example.com and by phone at (919) 513-7000.
