Collapse ▲N.C. Cooperative Extension uses a series of Google calendars to display content on the web as well as to manage internal resources. These calendars are setup using the G Suite implementation being used at NC State University. These calendars have different settings, depending on their purpose
County web calendars
- Everyone in a county extension center office has the ability to add/edit events to the counties with which they are affiliated in the Extension Employee Database. In Google terms, this is the Make Changes to Events access level.

Resource calendars
- Must be requested
- Must have two calendar managers who determine access. In Google terms, this is the Make Changes and Manage Sharing access level. Once the calendar is created, these calendar managers will handle access to the calendar.

- By invitation only – only people who are told about the calendar can use or see it
- Anyone with an @ncsu.edu address
- Anyone – visible to the general public
